UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE
Bongos John

Bongos John began his working career far from the music industry. From the age of 13 he’s worked in many areas such as Cleaning, Leisure Attendant, Farm Machine Operator, Site Security, Doorman, Pornographic Acting, Mechanic and Retail Management. It has also been rumoured that he’s been the stunt double in the adverts for ‘Milk Tray’, and the Australian soft drink ‘Solo – Thirst Crusher’.

But it has not all been a clean working life for Bongos John. As he admits to a few minor discretions such as: Breaking and Entering, Aggravated Vehicle theft, Assault, Failure to Report an Accident, Dealing of Illegal and Stolen Goods, Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, Criminal Damage, Dangerous Driving, and Possession of an Illegal Weapon. These offences led Bongos John to a number of Court appearances, 5 year Good Behaviour Bond and Driving Licence Ban.

But please don’t let these mistakes colour your opinion of Bongos John.

During early 2005, Bongos John was working as a Doorman at a Club in Buckinghamshire called ‘The Dungeon’. It was here that he meet Oz who was DJ’ing that night. The two hit it off, and Oz instantly started using Bongos John for all his Radio & Production Voice-overs.
In late 2005 Bongos John decided to go travelling in Mongolia. He’s says that it’s been one of the best decisions of his life. It was here he managed to gain a better perspective of life, and vowed to change his ways on returning to England.

Within a matter of hours of his return to England in 2006,  Bongos John was once again in trouble with the Law. But after finishing his Community Service Sentence, he has resumed Voice-overs with Oz, and is helping him out with UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE.
