UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE
About UCOH

UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE is the name of the Radio Show, Club Night, Tour Night and Record Label created by ‘The Godfather’ Dean Facer.

It began as a Club Night back in 1994. Then in 1999 it went live on the air as a Radio Show on CRMK 89.8 FM. The weekly Radio Show was groundbreaking and influential not just to DJ’s, Producers & Record Labels, but to the people who just have a love for music. It gave them the chance to hear great underground music, which they would never have heard of before, and might never hear again.
In 2005 Oz joined the UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE team, and the show was extended from a Two-hour show to a Three-hour show. He Co-Presented & Co-Mixed with Dean, and covered the show whenever Dean was out of the Country.

During late 2007 Oz travelled with Dean to one of his European Bookings in Tallinn, Estonia. After this gig Dean decided to take a sabbatical.
UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE as a Record Label ceased when Dean decided to take a break. But Oz carried on the Radio Show making the step from co-presenter, to becoming the Main Presenter. Oz then brought in Tech DJ Adam J to Co-Present, and Bongos John to provide Voiceovers and help Oz out with the running of UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE.

Oz and Adam J re-started the UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE Club Nights, back on New Years Eve 2007. Then during the Summer 2008, Dean Facer re-joined the team. Between them all, they are once again pushing out the UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE brand.
As for the Radio Show, Oz and Adam J, play only the finest forthcoming releases from genres and sub-genres such as House, Tech-House, West Coast, Tribal, Latin, Lounge, Acid, Breaks, Techno, Progressive etc; and if that’s not enough. They also try to fit in a Guest Mix on the Radio Show, sent to them by DJ’s from around the world.

Guest Mixes featured on the show have come from top flight DJs such as C.J Mackintosh, Mark Wilkinson, Josh Wink, Sonny Wharton, Dirty South, Dave Spoon, Layo & Bushwacka, M.Y.N.C Project, Seamus Haji, Quentin Harris, Darren Emerson, Phunk Investigation, Rulers of the Deep, Mark Farina, Mike Monday, Tanya Vulcano, Timo Garcia, Sven Väth, Moussa Clarke, Jon Silva, DJ Ninja Girl, Stian Klo, Geddes, Marc Romboy, and KneeDeep to name a few.

The future’s bright, the future’s MACDONCULOUS.
